Stop 1 – Tiananmen Square: We meet at the edge of one of the world's largest squares.\nStop 2 – The Forbidden City gates: The walls and gates of the great imperial palace.\nStop 3 – The imperial moat & walls: The setting of the palace of emperors.\nStop 4 – Jingshan approach: The hill park with views over the palace.\nStop 5 – The hutong lanes: The narrow alleys of old Beijing.\nStop 6 – The Bell and Drum Towers: The timekeepers of the old city.\nStop 7 – Old town viewpoint: We finish with the story of imperial Beijing.
