Tour description
A thousand years ago Córdoba was the largest and most cultured city in Europe, a dazzling capital where Muslims, Jews and Christians lived, studied and built side by side. On this walking tour a local guide brings that golden age to life as you wander the medieval streets of one of Spain's most enchanting old towns.
You will approach the extraordinary Mosque-Cathedral with its forest of arches, lose yourself in the flower-decked lanes of the old Jewish quarter, and cross the Roman bridge that has spanned the Guadalquivir for two thousand years. Intimate, fragrant and steeped in history, Córdoba is a city that feels like a living museum.
