Tour description

Fez is the spiritual and intellectual soul of Morocco, home to the largest car-free urban area in the world: a medieval medina of some 9,000 twisting lanes that has barely changed in a thousand years. On this walking tour a local guide is essential to help you navigate and understand this extraordinary living maze.

You will pass through the famous Blue Gate, wander alleys of coppersmiths and weavers, and take in the sights and smells of the ancient tanneries. Along the way you will hear about the world's oldest university, the craft guilds and the daily rhythms of the medina. Overwhelming and unforgettable, Fez is a city that can only be understood on foot with a local at your side.
Meeting point:

Bab Bou Jeloud (the Blue Gate), Fez
