Tour description
Geneva is one of the world's great international cities, the European home of the United Nations and the Red Cross, beautifully set on a lake framed by the Alps. Beyond its diplomatic role lies a charming old town of cobbled lanes and a grand cathedral. On this walking tour a local guide reveals its history.
You will admire the famous Jet d'Eau fountain, climb into the old town, and hear about the Reformation, the diplomats and the watchmakers. Along the way you will take in views over the lake. International and historic, Geneva is a wonderful city to explore on foot.
