Tour description
Granada is where medieval Spain reaches its most magical: the last stronghold of the Moors, crowned by the incomparable Alhambra palace glowing red above the city. On this walking tour a local guide leads you through the steep, whitewashed streets of the Albaicín, the old Moorish quarter that tumbles down the hillside facing the palace.
You will hear the dramatic story of the fall of Granada in 1492, discover the tea houses and craft shops of the old Arab bazaar, and climb to a viewpoint where the Alhambra floats against the snow-capped Sierra Nevada. Add in Granada's famous tradition of free tapas with every drink and you have one of the most atmospheric walks in all of Spain.
