Tour description
Gyeongju is one of the most historic places in Korea, the thousand-year capital of the ancient Silla kingdom, so rich in monuments that it is called 'the museum without walls'. Grassy royal tombs, ancient observatories and serene temples dot the city and surrounding hills. On this walking tour a local guide reveals its treasures.
You will wander among the great burial mounds of the Silla kings, see the ancient Cheomseongdae observatory, and hear about one of Korea's golden ages. Along the way you will discover the Buddhist heritage of the region. Ancient and peaceful, Gyeongju is a wonderful city to explore on foot.
