Tour description
Jeonju is the guardian of traditional Korean culture, famous above all for its Hanok Village of hundreds of traditional tile-roofed houses, and as the birthplace of bibimbap, one of Korea's most beloved dishes. A UNESCO City of Gastronomy, it is a delight for the senses. On this walking tour a local guide reveals its heritage.
You will wander the lanes of the beautiful Hanok Village, visit a historic shrine and gate, and hear about the traditions of hanji paper, pansori song and Korean cuisine. Along the way you will discover the crafts and flavours of the region. Traditional and charming, Jeonju is a wonderful city to explore on foot.
