Tour description

Long dismissed as a gateway to the Costa del Sol, Málaga has reinvented itself as one of Spain's most cultured and enjoyable cities, with three thousand years of history stacked up between the sea and the mountains. On this walking tour a local guide unfolds the layers of Phoenician, Roman, Moorish and Spanish Málaga, all within a compact and sunny old town.

You will see the Roman theatre nestled beneath a Moorish fortress, wander marble streets lined with tapas bars, and stand outside the house where Pablo Picasso was born. Full of light, flavour and easygoing charm, Málaga is a city made for walking and lingering.
Meeting point:

Plaza de la Marina, by the fountain, Málaga
