Stop 1 – South Gate: We meet at the great gate in the ancient city walls.\nStop 2 – The City Walls: The complete Ming-dynasty fortifications.\nStop 3 – South Street (Ming-Qing Street): The historic main street of shops.\nStop 4 – Rishengchang: The birthplace of China's first bank (from outside).\nStop 5 – The old courtyard houses: The traditional homes of old Pingyao.\nStop 6 – The City Tower & temples: The landmarks of the walled city.\nStop 7 – City-wall viewpoint: We finish with views over the ancient rooftops.
