Tour description

Quebec City is the most European city in North America, the cradle of French civilisation on the continent and the only walled city north of Mexico. Its UNESCO-listed old town, crowned by the fairy-tale Château Frontenac, is a maze of cobbled lanes and stone houses. On this walking tour a local guide brings four centuries of history to life.

You will wander the ramparts and lanes of the fortified upper town, descend to the charming lower town where the city began, and hear about the battles between France and Britain that shaped Canada. Along the way you will discover the joie de vivre of French Canada. Charming and historic, Quebec City is a delight to explore on foot.
Meeting point:

Place d'Armes, near the Château Frontenac, Quebec City
