Tour description
Sa Pa is Vietnam's famous mountain town, a former French hill station perched high in the northern highlands amid spectacular rice terraces and home to a colourful mosaic of ethnic hill cultures. Cool and misty, it is a gateway to some of the country's most beautiful scenery. On this walking tour a local guide reveals its town and cultures.
You will gather at the old stone church, wander the lively market, and take in views over the terraced valleys. Along the way you will hear about the Hmong, Dao and other hill peoples and the French hill-station history. Scenic and cultural, Sa Pa is a wonderful town to explore on foot.
