Tour description
Shanghai is China's most dazzling and cosmopolitan city, where the grand colonial buildings of the Bund face a futuristic skyline across the river, and an atmospheric old town survives amid the towers. Once the 'Paris of the East', it is a city of striking contrasts. On this walking tour a local guide reveals its history and energy.
You will stroll the famous Bund waterfront, wander the lanes of the old Chinese town, and take in views of the Pudong skyline. Along the way you will hear about the concession era, the traders and modern Shanghai. Modern and historic, Shanghai is a rewarding city to explore on foot.
