Tour description
Toulouse glows a warm terracotta pink, its buildings raised from the local brick that gives 'la Ville Rose' its nickname and its unmistakable Mediterranean warmth. Capital of the south-west, birthplace of European aerospace and a lively university city, Toulouse blends history and youthful energy in equal measure. On this walking tour a local guide shows you the best of it.
You will admire the grand Capitole and its arcaded square, visit one of the largest Romanesque churches in Europe, and follow the tree-lined banks of the UNESCO-listed Canal du Midi. Sunny, relaxed and full of southern charm, Toulouse is a delight to discover on foot.
