Xi'an is one of the oldest and greatest cities in China, an ancient imperial capital and the eastern gateway of the Silk Road, most famous today for the nearby Terracotta Army. Ringed by mighty intact city walls, its old centre is a treasure of history. On this walking tour a local guide reveals its heritage.
