On this walking tour a local guide reveals its history and energy.\n\nYou will stroll the famous Bund waterfront, wander the lanes of the old Chinese town, and take in views of the Pudong skyline. Along the way you will hear about the concession era, the traders and modern Shanghai. Modern and historic, Shanghai is a rewarding city to explore on foot.

Stop 1 – The Bund: We meet on the famous waterfront of colonial buildings.\nStop 2 – The Bund promenade: The views across to the Pudong skyline.\nStop 3 – Nanjing Road: The bustling main shopping street.\nStop 4 – The old Chinese town: The atmospheric lanes of old Shanghai.\nStop 5 – Yu Garden bazaar: The traditional market and garden district (from outside).\nStop 6 – The French Concession edge: The tree-lined streets of the old concession.\nStop 7 – Riverfront viewpoint: We finish with views over the Huangpu River.
