Würzburg is a baroque jewel on the Main river, the heart of Franconian wine country, crowned by the magnificent UNESCO-listed Residence palace and a mighty hilltop fortress. Rebuilt beautifully after the war, it is a delight to explore. On this walking tour a local guide reveals its heritage.
