Bokor is a plateau approximately 1,000 meters high, overlooking Kampot Bay and Phu Quoc Island. Since the 1920s, the French built a resort here with a hotel, casino, church, and villas; after many historical upheavals, the remaining moss-covered structures possess a deserted, mysterious beauty amid the fog.
During the tour, your vehicle follows a winding road approximately 30 km long to the mountain summit, stopping at the statue of Lok Yeay Mao – the guardian deity of travelers, the old Catholic church, the Bokor Palace complex, Wat Sampov Pram with its rocks shaped like five boats, and Popokvil Waterfall (at its fullest during the rainy season).
Temperatures on the mountain are considerably lower than on the plains, and the weather changes quickly, creating beautiful cloud-filled scenes for photography.

Detailed itinerary
Morning (08:30): The vehicle and tour guide pick you up at the hotel and depart for Bokor Mountain.
09:15: Stop at the Lok Yeay Mao statue and enjoy views of Kampot Bay.
10:00: Visit the old Catholic church and the French-era Bokor Palace complex.
11:00: Visit Wat Sampov Pram Pagoda, see the boat-shaped rocks, and admire panoramic views of the coast.
Noon (12:00): Have lunch at a mountain restaurant.
Afternoon (13:30): Walk to Popokvil Waterfall (approximately 20 minutes).
15:00: Descend the mountain and return to Kampot. 16:30: End the tour at the hotel.

Free cancellation with a 100% refund when notified at least 24 hours before departure. Cancellations made within 24 hours of departure are non-refundable. In the event of bad weather or attraction closures required by the authorities, we can help reschedule the tour or provide a full refund.

Dress code: when entering temples, pagodas, and the Royal Palace, please wear clothing that covers your shoulders and trousers/skirts below the knees; sports shoes are recommended because some sections have steep stone steps.
The tour is normally led by an English-speaking local guide; guides speaking Vietnamese, French, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and other languages can be requested (please advise when booking, subject to guide availability).
