CA MAU – DAT MUI – THE SOUTHERNMOST POINT OF VIETNAM
Transport: car – Departure: daily group tours. Departure from Ca Mau
07:30 The tour guide picks up guests in Ca Mau. The group begins the one-day Dat Mui tour from Ca Mau City to Dat Mui (120 km) by car, following the Ho Chi Minh Road along more than 30 km of coastline from Ngoc Hien District – Khai Long – Ca Mau Cape National Park – Dat Mui.
10:00 The group arrives at Ca Mau Cape: Visit National GPS Coordinate Marker 0001, the Hanoi Flag Tower at Dat Mui (inaugurated on April 30), and the Ca Mau Cape symbolic panel; take souvenir photos at kilometer marker 2436 on the Ho Chi Minh Road, the endpoint at Dat Mui; then visit the resistance forest village area and the mangrove forest ecosystem.
11:30 Have lunch at Huong Dat Mui Ecological Restaurant, featuring many local specialties: mudskippers, mangrove clams, milk oysters, and more. (Here, guests can experience mudskipper fishing, crab trapping, sampan rides, and more. Purchase specialties at the counter, including dried shrimp, dried fish, and Dat Mui souvenirs.)
15:00 The Ca Mau tour group returns to Ca Mau City. Visit the Memorial Site of the revered President Ho Chi Minh and the bird garden in the heart of the city—a distinctive feature not found everywhere.
