07:00 The vehicle and tour guide pick you up at your hotel or meeting point and depart for Dong Thap. Upon arrival in Lai Vung, visit the beautiful Lai Vung pink mandarin orchard, especially stunning in the period leading up to Tet. Lai Vung pink mandarins are a fruit grown according to VietGAP standards and certified with an exclusive trademark. Here, you can enjoy pink mandarins—one of Dong Thap’s specialty fruits—and taste fresh mandarins right in the orchard.
10:30 The vehicle and tour guide take you to Sa Dec, known as the “Flower Capital of the Mekong Delta.” Sa Dec Flower Village in Dong Thap: the village’s ornamental flower-growing area currently covers more than 400 hectares, with over 2,000 households growing and trading flowers for domestic and international markets. Here, you will feel as though you have entered a world of brilliantly colored flowers.

- During the flood season, aboard a three-leaf boat, local female guerrillas dressed in black ba ba shirts, checkered scarves, and duckbill hats take you through pristine small canals to historical sites hidden within the vast melaleuca forest.
- Here, you will feel as though you have stepped back into the scenery of a revolutionary base.
- The area has an exceptionally diverse ecosystem, with more than 170 plant species and 200 wild animal species.
- Local residents will take you by three-leaf boat through the melaleuca forest.
