Located about 30km from the center of Cao Lanh city, spanning across My Long and My Hiep communes, the Xeo Quyt historical relic and ecotourism area will give visitors the feeling of being lost in a primeval forest with stunning scenery that you cannot miss.

Detailed itinerary
04:50 The vehicle and tour guide pick you up at the meeting point. Begin the 1-day journey to explore Dong Thap: “Plum Garden – Xeo Quyt – Lotus Leaf Pagoda”
Pick-up points:
- 05:00 Youth Cultural House, District 1 – No. 4 Pham Ngoc Thach, District 1
- 05:20 Comeco gas station – 917 3/2 Street, District 11
- 05:40 Comeco gas station, 450 Kinh Duong Vuong, An Lac Ward
05:30 The tour guide picks up guests at the pre-arranged locations. Then depart along the Trung Luong – My Thuan Expressway. On the bus, the tour guide will interact with guests and review the group’s itinerary.
07:00 Stop for breakfast at a restaurant: My Tho hu tieu menu
08:00 Then continue the journey to Dong Thap. Guests will pass by and admire My Thuan Bridge – the largest cable-stayed bridge in Vietnam, connecting the route from Ho Chi Minh City to Vinh Long. In addition, My Thuan Bridge is also an architecturally outstanding structure, attracting many tourists from all over the country.
08:45 The group travels to Xeo Quyt Tourist Area. Arriving at Xeo Quyt, you will immediately feel the beautiful natural scenery, a place that still preserves the peaceful landscape of the old Mekong Delta. At Xeo Quyt Tourist Area in the dry season, you will weave along winding trails under the cool shade of melaleuca trees. During the flood season, on a three-plank sampan, female guerrillas in black ao ba ba outfits, checkered scarves, and boonie hats will take you through pristine small canals to reach relics hidden deep in the vast melaleuca forest. Xeo Quyt is a miniature Dong Thap Muoi; along the way, visitors will be invited by the female guerrillas to enjoy light rustic snacks that are local specialties.
11:30 After exploring Xeo Quyt Tourist Area, guests will have lunch with a menu featuring local specialties.

13:30 The “Tien Vua” plum garden, a special variety of plum that has existed for over a hundred years, light pink in color, with a sour yet delicately sweet taste, mainly grown for export. Guests can pick plums by hand and enjoy them right in the garden. (For purchases to take home, please contact the orchard owner.)
15:00 The group visits Phuoc Kien Pagoda, also known as “Lotus Leaf Pagoda.” Among the many famous pagodas in Dong Thap Province with ancient architecture and beautiful scenery, Phuoc Kien Pagoda may not be the most beautiful, but it still attracts a large number of tourists and Buddhists because it has a very special lotus pond. When mentioning lotus flowers, people often think of an elegant, refined, yet delicate beauty. But the lotus leaves at Phuoc Kien Pagoda in Dong Thap are famous for their enormous size, able to “carry” a person while only gently rippling the water’s surface.
16:00 Guests board the vehicle and depart back to Ho Chi Minh City. On the way back, the group stops to visit and shop for Dong Thap specialties such as Lai Vung fermented pork rolls, milk rice paper, etc.
18:00 The group arrives back at the original pick-up point. The tour guide says goodbye and bids farewell to the group. We look forward to seeing you again on future programs.
