Detailed itinerary
08:00 The vehicle and tour guide pick you up in Pleiku. Depart for Kon Tum City (approximately 50 km). Upon arrival, visit Kon Tum Cathedral (the Wooden Church), built in 1913 using traditional craftsmanship, combining Romanesque architecture with the stilt-house style of the Bana people.
11:30 Lunch,
12:30 Visit Kon Tum Prison, built by the French colonial authorities to imprison political prisoners and Vietnamese revolutionary soldiers during 1930–1931. Visit the memorial house, traditional house, the “Indomitable” monument complex, and two mass graves beside the Đăkbla River.
Continue to visit Kon Klor Suspension Bridge, which connects the two banks of the Đăkbla River, and the largest traditional cultural communal house in the Central Highlands belonging to the Bana people. Visit Bac Ai Pagoda, whose construction began in 1932 during the reign of Emperor Bảo Đại; the pagoda was bestowed the title “Sắc tứ Bác Ái tự.”
15:30 The group departs to visit Đồng Xanh Cultural Park, known as a miniature Central Highlands in the heart of the city, with various attractions such as the Central Highlands statue garden, One Pillar Pagoda—a version of Hanoi in the Central Highlands, the Legendary Central Highlands Square, a communal house, the largest water t’rưng, the largest bronze gong, and the Hùng Kings National Ancestor Temple complex. In addition, visitors can register to attend a Central Highlands gong performance (at their own expense).
The vehicle takes the group back to the original pick-up point. Our tour guide, on behalf of the company, thanks and bids farewell to you. End of the program.
