07:45 to 08:00: The bus picks up guests in Hanoi and departs for Mai Chau.
11:30: Arrive in Mai Chau. Enjoy lunch at Lac Village.
13:00: Explore Lac Village. The tour guide will organize a cycling tour to visit Pom Coong and Na Phon villages.
Lac Village is over 700 years old. It is home to the Black Thai ethnic group, who make their living mainly by growing upland rice and weaving brocade.
Lac Village is a truly special gift from the mountains and forests to those who love peace and quiet, inviting them to immerse themselves in the expansive, lush greenery of the mountains in Hoa Binh.
Pom Coong is a very unique and meaningful name. In the Thai language, "Pom" means hill, and "Coong" means drum; Pom Coong signifies a village of hills resting on a giant drum, referring to the surrounding fields.
Currently, Pom Coong Village is home to about 70 households belonging to 7 major clans living together harmoniously.
When visiting Pom Coong Village, you will not only admire the natural beauty but also discover the unique cultural traditions of the locals and marvel at the characteristic stilt houses of the Thai ethnic group on this Mai Chau Tour.
