Thanh Hoa – Lam Kinh – Ben En 1-Day Tour
Morning 07:00 The driver and tour guide pick you up in Sam Son City or Thanh Hoa City and depart for Lam Kinh. You have breakfast en route.
09:00 Begin your visit to the Lam Kinh Historical Site in Tho Xuan District. In 1428, after ascending the throne as Emperor in Dong Kinh, King Le Thai To of the Early Le Dynasty ordered the construction of a second grand imperial capital on the ancestral land of Lam Son, now known as Lam Kinh Citadel or Tay Kinh. This is also the place where, 600 years ago, Lam Kinh Citadel was established. Lam Kinh Citadel comprises the Imperial City, palaces, and the Imperial Ancestral Temple, arranged along a north–south axis on a hill shaped like the character “Vuong.”
Visitors are accompanied by a guide from the Lam Kinh Historical Site Management Board, who introduces its historical and cultural values. Visit the ancient citadel palace, Court Yard, Main Hall, Vinh Lang Stele, Jade Well, Smiling Guava Tree, and more.
10:30 Continue your journey through the sacred former imperial capital. The vehicle and tour guide take you to visit the Temple of Le Lai, located in Tep Village, Kien Tho, Ngoc Lac District, approximately 6 km from Lam Kinh Citadel.
Here, visitors experience Muong cultural traditions and hear the story of “Le Lai risking his life to save his lord,” as well as about Le Lai’s loyalty to the king and noble sacrifice.
11:45 Rest and have lunch in Tho Xuan Town.

13:30 Continue your visit to Ben En National Park (approximately 60 km from Lam Kinh).
14:30 Ben En National Park warmly welcomes you.
Covering a total area of 16,634 hectares, Ben En National Park spans Nhu Thanh and Nhu Xuan Districts and features a rich and diverse ecosystem. Visitors can explore 21 islands, each with distinctive characteristics, within the Ben En ecotourism complex, including Animal Island, Plant Island, and Bat Cave.
16:30 Return to the vehicle and bid farewell to Ben En National Park.
