The 2-day 1-night Hai Duong tour takes visitors to Chi Lang Nam Stork Island – a place nicknamed by travelers the “precious gem” of Thanh Mien. Here, every evening at sunset, you can look up to see the sky filled with the wings of flying storks. The scenery seems to beckon visitors, with a large, cool green lake reflecting the storks in flight. Amid the open, peaceful natural setting, you can freely admire flocks of storks perched on the branches. Take the opportunity to breathe in the extremely fresh and cool riverside air. This is known as a spacious, tranquil eco-tourism area imbued with the rustic charm of the Northern Delta countryside. The storks gather in the largest numbers in the late afternoon, often calling one another back to their nests. Flocks of thousands of white storks fly back to their nests together, their cheerful calls echoing over the still surface of An Duong Lake. The trees stripped bare of leaves are the result of so many storks perching on them. The ancient, tranquil scenery evokes memories of the Northern countryside in days gone by.

07:00 The vehicle and tour guide pick you up at the designated meeting point in Hanoi to depart for Hai Duong. Along the way, enjoy panoramic views of the countryside in the Red River Delta of northern Vietnam.
09:00 Arriving in Hai Duong, you will stop to visit and enjoy the art of water puppetry performed by the Hong Phong Water Puppet Troupe – where local farmers are also the most professional artists. You will discover and learn about this long-standing traditional Vietnamese art form through various unique folk sketches.
10:30 Arrive at Stork Island Ecotourism Area – Chi Lang Nam; take a boat ride to explore the lush green landscape filled with Northern countryside charm, featuring flocks of storks and herons, melodious birdsong, and serene, beautiful nature.
11:00 The boat docks; check in and relax (you may choose to stay at a local homestay or at Dao Co Guesthouse).
12:00 Enjoy lunch with homegrown local specialties, followed by some rest.
Afternoon: Discover and experience rural life through the daily rustic activities of local residents:
- Learn how to hoe the soil and cultivate vegetables, participating in every stage from tilling the ground, mounding beds, planting, watering, and tending to harvesting.
- Experience making a fishing rod, baiting the hook, and relaxing with fishing. Your catch will be prepared into an appetizing dish for dinner.
17:00 – 17:30 Board a boat to tour An Duong Lake. As dusk falls, thousands of white storks fill the sky, chirping and calling to one another as they return to their nests, creating an exceptionally impressive sight for every visitor.
