The 2-day, 1-night Tan Lap Floating Village tour will take you into the fascinating world of the Mekong Delta, where lush green melaleuca forests and a peaceful floating village await. In particular, you will have the opportunity to experience fishing with fish traps, a typical Mekong Delta activity that lets you gain a sense of the daily life of the local people. The trip not only brings joy through moments spent close to nature but is also an opportunity to immerse yourself in the simple, rustic culture and rhythm of life in the Mekong Delta.

Detailed itinerary
Ho Chi Minh City – EXPLORE TAN LAP FLOATING VILLAGE (Lunch, dinner)
Morning 07:00 Our vehicle and tour guide will pick you up at the meeting point in Ho Chi Minh City. The group departs for Tan Lap Floating Village!
Upon arrival at Tan Lap Floating Village, the group checks into the hotel. Free time to enjoy the cool, lush natural scenery.
Lunch: Enjoy local specialties.
Afternoon 13:30 An electric shuttle takes guests to the traditional games area, where staff guide guests in participating in the pond-draining and fish-catching activity (at your own expense).
The group continues the journey by participating in land- or water-based games according to preference, such as:
- Team obstacle course (riding a swaying swing, moving across a horizontal bar, and walking on floating buoys to the finish line)
- Balance bridge
- Swaying bridge
- Rope walking
15:00 – 17:00 Experience how to wrap and cook Southern Vietnamese bánh tét (staff will guide guests through the activity).
17:00 The group visits Thuần Dưỡng Bird Island (depending on the season). If bad weather or the off-season prevents the birds from staying there, guests will not be able to visit the bird island; in that case, the program will be replaced with an activity to remove fishing nets and catch freshwater fish along the Rừng Canal and river.
18:00 Dinner at the restaurant, served as a set menu (the detailed menu will be sent to guests in advance for selection when booking the tour).
Evening: Guests can go night fishing or participate in a campfire activity (at your own expense).

09:30 – 10:00 Guests gather at the boat dock to paddle three-leaf boats, winding through the small canals in the melaleuca forest.
10:30 An electric vehicle takes guests to the boat dock for a panoramic tour of the entire tourist area, covering a 3-km river route on the Rach Rung River by motorized boat (weekdays) / or cable-pulled boat (weekends), lasting approximately 50 minutes.
Noon 11:00 The group has lunch at the restaurant.
Afternoon 12:00 Check out of the hotel and end the tour. The group departs for Ho Chi Minh City. The vehicle takes the group back to the original pickup point. Our tour guide says goodbye and looks forward to welcoming you on future trips. (Note: If guests wish to have their catch prepared as a meal, the kitchen will quote the actual price. Guests are not allowed to bring fishing rods from outside into the tourist area.)
