Tour description
Kampot and Kep are where Phnom Penh residents head on weekends: riverside towns with rows of old shophouses, a laid-back atmosphere, and delicious fresh seafood, about a 3-hour drive from the capital.
Over 3 days, you will visit Preah Monivong (Bokor) National Park—a cool plateau featuring an old Catholic church, French colonial-era resort ruins, the Lok Yeay Mao statue, and Popokvil Waterfall. In the evening, a boat will take you upstream on the Kampot River to watch the sunset and glittering fireflies among the riverside trees.
The second day is dedicated to Kampot pepper gardens, Phnom Chhngok Cave Temple, and Kep Crab Market, with green pepper fried crab for lunch. On the final day, take a boat to Rabbit Island (Koh Tonsay) for a swim on a pristine beach before returning to Phnom Penh.

Other notes
Currency: USD is widely used alongside the Cambodian Riel; it is recommended to carry small-denomination US dollar bills that are new and undamaged.
The tour is normally led by an English-speaking local guide; Vietnamese-, French-, Chinese-, Japanese-, or Korean-speaking guides can be requested (please notify us when booking, subject to guide availability).
The price applies per guest for private tours with groups of 2 or more guests. Larger groups receive better rates; please contact us.
Visa: International visitors need a Cambodian visa (apply for an e-visa online before the trip or obtain a visa at the border gate/airport); citizens of ASEAN countries are exempt from visas. Passports must be valid for at least 6 months.
Bokor Mountain is often foggy and cooler than the lowlands, so bring a light jacket. Boats to Rabbit Island may be temporarily suspended in rough seas; in that case, the itinerary will be replaced with a visit to Kep.
