Detailed itinerary
DISCOVER “THE EYES OF PLEIKU” – WILD SUNFLOWER SEASON – GIA LAI
Morning: The vehicle and tour guide pick you up at Pleiku Airport and take you to visit Minh Thanh Pagoda: a spiritual tourism destination visited by many people when traveling to Gia Lai. And when mentioning Minh Thanh Pagoda, people immediately think of a pagoda with a very distinctive architectural style. It is a skillful and masterful combination of ancient Vietnamese pagoda architecture and Japanese temple architecture.
After that, the group has lunch at a restaurant and checks in to rest.
Afternoon 14:30 The group explores Chu Dang Ya Volcano: The venue for the “Wild Sunflower – Chu Dang Ya” festival.
- Chu Dang Ya: A majestic volcano amid the vast Central Highlands forests, where you can admire wild sunflowers growing along the forest edge and conquer the summit of Chu Dang Ya Mountain. Chu Dang Ya Volcano is a miraculous gift that nature has bestowed upon the mountain town of Gia Lai and is one of the destinations that attracts visitors. (If traveling during wild sunflower season)
- T’Nung Lake: likened to “The Eyes of Pleiku,” one of the most beautiful natural lakes in the Central Highlands. Here, you will be captivated by the poetic beauty of the vast water surface or the open spaces and windy sky.
- 100-year-old Pine Road: Known as the “love road” of the mountain town of Pleiku.
- Bien Ho Tea Hill: planted on a large expanse of land, irrigated with water from an irrigation lake connected to the water source of T’Nung Lake. The tea plantation at Bien Ho dates back to 1919–1920, when the French reclaimed the northern part of the Pleiku Plateau to grow tea.
After that, the group returns for dinner. Then you are free to enjoy the night town at Great Solidarity Square, a fairly large and beautiful place where you can see the city’s activities and the nightlife of the Central Highlands people after a working day.
