Cádiz is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in Western Europe, a sun-drenched Atlantic port almost completely surrounded by the sea, with a magnificent cathedral crowned by a golden dome, palm-shaded squares, and a lively carnival spirit. On this walking tour, a local guide will reveal the city’s history.
You’ll admire the magnificent cathedral, stroll through the squares and markets of the old town, and walk along the seafront walls. Along the way, you’ll hear about the Phoenicians, New World trade, and the famous carnival. Bathed in golden sunshine and rich in history, Cádiz is a wonderful city to explore on foot.
