Detailed itinerary
HANOI – TUYET TINH COC – CAO BANG (LUNCH/DINNER)
MORNING:
07:00 Our vehicle and tour guide will pick you up at the meeting point and depart for Cao Bang, beginning the 3-day, 2-night tour to explore Cao Bang – Lang Son. En route, the group will stop for breakfast (at your own expense).
13:00 Arrive in Cao Bang. The group will stop to rest and have lunch at a restaurant featuring local specialties.
AFTERNOON:
14:30 After lunch, the group will board the vehicle and continue to Tra Linh.
15:30 Arrive at Ham Huong Cave and Thang Hen Lake – known as the “Tuyet Tinh Coc” of Cao Bang. You will admire white clouds stretching across the mountain slopes.
17:00 The group will board the vehicle and continue to the best sunset viewpoint in Cao Bang: Mat Than Mountain (also known as Thung Mountain). It is called Thung Mountain because of its distinctive appearance, with a round hole resembling the eye of the mountain.
EVENING:
18:00 Have dinner at a restaurant featuring local specialties, explore Cao Bang at night, and stay overnight here.
MORNING:

08:00 Our vehicle and tour guide will pick you up and continue to Dam Thuy, home to two famous scenic attractions: Ban Gioc Waterfall and the Quay Son River.
10:00 The group will visit Nguom Ngao Cave, one of the most beautiful caves in Vietnam. The cave has an enormous interior, featuring various formations rising from the ground or hanging from above.
11:00 The group will continue to visit Truc Lam Ban Gioc Phat Tich Pagoda, a spacious pagoda built on an area of 3 hectares against Phia Nham Mountain, approximately 500 meters from Ban Gioc Waterfall. From Truc Lam Ban Gioc Phat Tich Pagoda, you can admire a panoramic view of Ban Gioc Waterfall and the lush green rice fields amid the surrounding mountains and sky.
12:00 The group will rest and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
AFTERNOON:
13:30 After lunch, the group will visit Ban Gioc Waterfall, ranked fourth among the world's top 10 most majestic waterfalls. It is the most beautiful waterfall in Southeast Asia and lies along the border between Vietnam and China. Ban Gioc Waterfall sometimes surges powerfully and at other times flows gently, but it never stops flowing.
14:30 You can experience kayaking on the gentle, romantic Quay Son River (at your own expense).
16:00 The group will arrive at tonight's accommodation, complete check-in procedures, and rest at So Oanh Hotel (or Yen Nhi Homestay).
EVENING:
18:00 Have dinner at a local restaurant.

CAO BANG – DONG DANG MOTHER TEMPLE – HANOI (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/-)
MORNING: The group will enjoy breakfast featuring Cao Bang steamed rice rolls, a local specialty.
08:00 After breakfast, the group will continue the journey to Mau Lang Son Temple in Lang Son City.
10:30 Visit Dong Dang Mother Temple, a place of worship for Buddha and Holy Mother Lieu Hanh. It is one of the most sacred temples dedicated to the Vietnamese Mother Goddess. The temple is situated on a high mountain amid beautiful scenery. From here, you can admire the entire landscape of Lang Son.
11:30 The group will have lunch at a restaurant featuring Lang Son specialties.
13:00 After lunch, the group will continue traveling to explore Dong Lam Green Plateau.
15:00 Dong Lam Plateau covers hundreds of hectares. Its landscape is entirely a gift from nature, rather than being created by humans. You can also experience bamboo raft rowing on the lake while admiring the vast, pristine mountains (raft rowing at your own expense).
16:00 Depart for the beloved capital city of Hanoi.
19:00 The vehicle will drop you off at the original pickup point, bringing the Northeast Vietnam journey through the majestic mountains of Cao Bang – Lang Son to a successful end.
