Tour description
Dalat’s riders have been taking visitors into the hills for decades, and a day riding pillion on a motorbike is still the best way to explore the highlands around the city—pine forests, flower and vegetable farms, coffee plantations and waterfalls.
You will ride behind an experienced driver and guide. We set off through flower farms and greenhouses that supply flowers to half of Vietnam, stopping at an Arabica coffee farm to see the coffee plants and taste the coffee, then visiting a silk workshop where silkworm cocoons are spun into thread using old machinery. After lunch, we visit Linh An Pagoda, with its giant Laughing Buddha statue, and Elephant Falls, a powerful waterfall in the forest, before riding back to the city through the valleys.

Stop 3 - Arabica coffee farm (approx. 09:40): The plants, the processing and a tasting.
Stop 4 - Silk factory (approx. 10:40): Cocoons unwound and woven on the old looms.
Stop 5 - Lunch (approx. 12:00): Local restaurant.
Stop 6 - Linh An pagoda (approx. 13:15): The pagoda and its giant Buddha.
Stop 7 - Elephant Waterfall (approx. 13:45): The falls and the climb down the rocks (optional).
Stop 8 - Ride back (approx. 14:45): Through the valleys to Da Lat.
Finish (16:00): Drop-off at your hotel.

Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable. If heavy rain, a storm warning, or an official road closure makes travel unsafe, we will reschedule or provide a full refund.
Other notes
Safety: you travel as a passenger (riding pillion)—guests never drive themselves. All drivers are experienced local riders with Vietnamese driving licences, and no driver drinks alcohol during the trip (Vietnam has a zero-tolerance policy). By law, each motorbike carries only one passenger; parents may ride together with children under 12.
An approved helmet (with the strap fastened) and a rain poncho are provided. Personal accident insurance is included.
The minimum age to ride separately behind a driver is 6. Please wear closed-toe shoes and let us know if you have back or neck problems or are pregnant.
This tour does not visit civet farms (“weasel coffee” farms), where animals are often kept in cages.
The path down to Elephant Falls is steep and slippery; this section is optional.
May to October is the rainy season in Dalat—afternoons are often wet, and the trip may finish earlier.
The total travel distance is approximately 80 km.
