Pick-up in Ho Chi Minh City – Sa Dec – Dong Thap – Tram Chim
The vehicle and tour guide will pick up guests in the group of the 2-day, 1-night Dong Thap tour – Lunar New Year 2025 at the meeting point. Say goodbye to Ho Chi Minh City and travel to the Kingdom of the Lotus – Dong Thap.
On the bus, guests can relax and participate in fun group games such as Find the Mystery, The Final Secret, The Magic Hat, and more, along with many attractive gifts and lucky money – Welcoming Fortune at the Beginning of the Year – for the luckiest travelers.
Traveling along the Ho Chi Minh City – Trung Luong Expressway, guests will stop at Trung Luong Three-Way Junction and have breakfast at Mekong Restop restaurant.

After a delicious breakfast, guests continue to Sa Dec City to visit Dong Thap’s famous tourist attractions as part of the New Year travel program.
First, the group visits Kien An Cung Ancient Pagoda, a temple featuring distinctive Chinese architecture. The pagoda was built in the shape of the Chinese character “工” and consists of three sections: the main worship hall in the center, the left section used as a gathering place, and the right section as a school for educating children. The group enters the pagoda to offer incense and worship at the beginning of the year, while admiring its remarkably intricate dragon and phoenix carvings.
Continuing the journey, the tour guide takes the group to visit and check in at Huynh Thuy Le Ancient House, which was built with inspiration from Eastern and Western architectural styles. The building has been recognized as a provincial-level historical and cultural relic and has become an attractive destination on the tour. The group explores the ancient artifacts, learns about traditional daily life and culture, and takes check-in photos here.
Afterward, the group stops to visit and check in at Tan Quy Dong Flower Village – the largest flower-growing center in the Mekong Delta. Many different flower varieties are cultivated here, primarily ornamental flowers, with more than 1,500 species carefully tended. Travelers to the Mekong Delta can immerse themselves in the brilliant colors and intoxicating fragrances. Guests will certainly take home hundreds of stunning photos beside this magnificent flower forest.
The group gets back on the bus and travels to a restaurant in Cao Lanh City for lunch and a rest before returning to the hotel to check in.
Guests continue their visit to Tram Chim National Park in Tam Nong. They experience traveling by motorized boat through fields of wild rice, across vast melaleuca forests and through romantic lotus fields.
The group explores Tram Chim’s distinctive seasonal habitats. From September to October, it is bird-nesting season, with nests hanging from melaleuca branches, mother birds feeding their young and chicks learning to fly. From December to April of the following year, it is the season when cranes return. If lucky, guests may see the rare Red-crowned Crane, listed in Vietnam’s and the world’s Red Books.
