Tour description
The Dong Thap – Cao Lanh 1-day tour program takes you to the land famous for its endless stork flights. Traveling to Dong Thap – Cao Lanh means exploring lush orchards, the unique waterways of the Southwestern region, and visiting historical and cultural relics as well as natural landscapes. You will be immersed in beautiful scenery, with fruit-laden trees still on their branches and the chance to observe rare bird species.
Arriving in Cao Lanh city, visitors can enter the Gao Giong Ecotourism Area – likened to a perfect painting that needs no embellishment. You will sit on a small boat through fragrant lotus swamps, into the melaleuca forest where storks, rails, herons, cormorants, wild ducks, painted storks, green pigeons, and more gather to feed and nest within the 1,640-hectare Dong Thap Muoi natural reserve. If you have the chance to come here, you will realize that such praise is not exaggerated. The poetic, peaceful scenery with the river and flocks of storks will leave you mesmerized!
Highlights of the tour you cannot miss:
- Gao Giong Ecotourism Area
- Kien An Cung Pagoda
- Huynh Thuy Le Ancient House
- Tan Quy Dong Ornamental Flower Village
