Morning: The vehicle and tour guide from Ben Nghe Tourist pick you up at the meeting point and depart for Cao Lanh, beginning the Dong Thap – Tram Chim – Sa Dec floating season tour. Arriving in Cao Lanh, visit the Nguyen Sinh Sac Relic Site (including Uncle Ho's stilt house, Pho Bang Nguyen Sinh Sac Mausoleum, and Hoa An Village recreating the place where he lived before his passing). You will have lunch at a restaurant, then check in and rest.
Afternoon: Visit the Tam Nong specialty market featuring local delicacies like dried snakehead fish, dried snake, field rat... Continue to Tram Chim Tam Nong National Park – a wetland area in Dong Thap Muoi (Plain of Reeds). The bus will take the group to Sa Dec to visit the water caltrop fields, where you can learn fascinating insights into how water caltrops are grown, cared for, harvested, and prepared into dishes, as well as experience the life of a local farmer picking water caltrops in the field. Admire the vast, scenic lotus fields and learn about lotus products, especially dishes made from lotus seeds, which have long been a specialty of the Dong Thap Muoi region. The tour continues with a visit to a facility producing nem (fermented pork rolls), bi (shredded pork skin), and cha lua (Vietnamese pork sausage), where you will discover the process behind Dong Thap's famous fermented pork rolls and try your hand at making them under the guidance of skilled artisans. Visit Sa Dec Ornamental Flower Village – one of the largest flower and ornamental plant villages in Vietnam. Here, you can admire a wide variety of beautiful flowers and bonsai trees over 100 years old. The group will have lunch at a restaurant and depart for Ho Chi Minh City.
