Chefchaouen is one of Morocco’s most charming towns, a mountain medina where nearly every wall, door, and staircase is painted in various shades of blue, creating a magical maze amid the Rif Mountains. Relaxed and beautiful, it is a photographer’s paradise. On this walking tour, a local guide will reveal the town’s alleyways and legends.
You will meet in the main square below the kasbah, stroll through blue-painted alleyways, and learn about the town’s history and the origins of its famous color. Along the way, you will discover local handicrafts and mountain culture. Magical and peaceful, Chefchaouen is a wonderful town to explore on foot.

Stop 3 – Alleys of the blue medina: The famous blue-painted alleyways.
Stop 4 – Artisan workshops: The weavers and craftsmen of the medina.
Stop 5 – Ancient fountains & doorways: Photogenic corners of the town.
Stop 6 – Path to the Spanish Mosque: The hillside sanctuary overlooking the valley.
Stop 7 – Mountain viewpoint: We finish with panoramic views of the blue town and the Rif Mountains.
