Tour description
Bordeaux is one of France’s most charming cities, a UNESCO-recognized heritage ensemble with gleaming golden-stone façades, expansive riverside squares, and a two-thousand-year-old wine culture. Once soot-stained and neglected, the city has now been polished into one of Europe’s most liveable places, and on this walking tour, a local guide will show you why.
You will admire the famous Miroir d'eau reflecting Place de la Bourse, stroll along pedestrian streets lined with 18th-century mansions, and hear the story of the wine trade that made the city prosperous. Both elegant and free-spirited, with the broad Garonne River winding through its centre, Bordeaux always offers wonderful experiences to those who take their time exploring on foot.
