Tour description
Granada is where medieval Spain becomes most magical: the last stronghold of the Moors, crowned by the unique Alhambra palace glowing red above the city and enhancing its majesty. On this walking tour, a local guide will lead you through the steep, whitewashed streets of the Albaicín, the ancient Moorish quarter stretching down the hillside opposite the palace.
You will hear the dramatic story of Granada’s fall in 1492, explore the tea houses and craft shops in the old Arab market, and then climb to a viewpoint where the Alhambra stands out against the snow-capped Sierra Nevada. Add Granada’s famous tradition of serving free tapas with every drink, and you have one of the most enchanting walks in Spain.
