On this walking tour, a local guide will reveal the area's glorious past.
You will see the iconic Chinese fishing nets in action, stroll along streets lined with Portuguese and Dutch architecture, and hear stories of the spice trade that once drew the entire world to Kerala. Stop 3 – St. Francis Church: One of the oldest European churches in India.
Stop 4 – Colonial Streets: The Portuguese and Dutch streets of old Fort Kochi.
Stop 5 – Santa Cruz Cathedral Basilica: The magnificent church in the heart of the old town.
Stop 6 – Spice Warehouses: The streets of the old spice trade route heading towards Mattancherry.
Stop 7 – Waterfront Viewpoint: We finish by the harbour with stories of the spice routes.
