It is home to the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, one of the most revered Buddhist sites, and is a UNESCO World Heritage city. On this walking tour, a local guide will reveal the city’s history and traditions.
You will stroll beside the sacred lake, visit the famous Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, and explore the bustling market streets. Along the way, you will hear stories about the Kingdom of Kandy, Buddhism, and the surrounding green tea plantations. Both sacred and picturesque, Kandy is a wonderful city to explore on foot.
