Segovia is one of Spain’s most spectacular cities, famous for its colossal Roman aqueduct, which has stood for two thousand years, and a fairytale castle said to have inspired Walt Disney. Set on a rocky ridge in the heart of Castile, the city’s golden-hued old town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. On this walking tour, a local guide will take you to discover its wonders.
You’ll stand beneath the astonishing aqueduct, stroll along golden cobbled streets to the cathedral, and then continue to the impressive Alcázar fortress perched high above the plain. Along the way, you’ll hear stories of the Romans, kings and queens, as well as the city’s famous roast suckling pig. Majestic and steeped in history, Segovia is a wonderful city to explore on foot.

Stop 2 – Old Town Alleys: Golden cobblestone streets leading up to the cathedral.
Stop 3 – Plaza Mayor & Cathedral: The magnificent square and the 'queen of cathedrals'.
Stop 4 – Jewish Quarter: The medieval Jewish alleys of the old city.
Stop 5 – Casa de los Picos & Mansions: Distinctive historic merchant houses.
Stop 6 – Approach to the Alcázar: The fairy-tale castle perched on a rocky crag.
Stop 7 – Panoramic Viewpoint: We end our journey with views of the castle and the Castilian plains.
