Detailed itinerary
HANOI - HA GIANG - KM 0 - QUAN BA HEAVEN GATE - YEN MINH (LUNCH/DINNER)
Morning: Our car and tour guide will pick you up at the meeting point in the Hanoi Old Quarter area and the Hanoi Opera House. The bus departs, embarking on the journey to explore the Northeast. Afterwards, the vehicle will stop for you to rest and have breakfast at the Kim Anh intersection or along the highway.
Note: The bus can pick you up at the Kim Anh intersection (at the starting point of the Hanoi - Lao Cai Highway), about 3 km from Noi Bai Airport and very close to Noi Bai hotels, at around 7:30 AM. If you arrive late at Noi Bai Airport, you can book a nearby hotel to rest as well as save on travel costs back to the Old Quarter.
Noon: The group has lunch in Tan Yen Town (Ham Yen, Tuyen Quang). Afterwards, the journey continues to the sacred Doi Co Cau Ma Temple situated on the banks of the Lo River.
Upon arriving in Ha Giang on the 4-Day 3-Night Ha Giang - Cao Bang Tour, the group will:
- Take souvenir photos at Ha Giang's Km 0 milestone.
- Stop at Quan Ba Heaven Gate to take photos with the Fairy Bosom Twin Mountain, also known as Quan Ba Twin Mountain, and admire the panoramic view of Tam Son Town from above.
Arriving in Yen Minh, you will check in and rest.
Evening: The group enjoys a delicious dinner. You are free to explore Yen Minh by night. Overnight stay in Yen Minh.

YEN MINH - DONG VAN - MEO VAC - BAO LAC (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)
Morning: The group has breakfast and departs for Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark. Along the way, the group will stop to visit:
- Pho Cao, home to traditional H'Mong houses characterized by their distinctive surrounding stone fences.
- Sung La Village: Visit the historic H'Mong house chosen as the filming location for the 2006 movie "The Story of Pao".
- Take photos at the buckwheat flower fields at Chin Khoanh Slope.
- H'Mong King's Palace - Vuong Duc Chinh. This was the most wealthy and influential family in the Dong Van region during the 20th century.
- Check in at Lung Cu Flag Tower, the northernmost point marking the highest latitude on the map of Vietnam.
Lunch: The group enjoys lunch at a restaurant. Afterward, the vehicle will take you to:
- Dong Van Old Quarter, which has stood the test of time for nearly a century. You can sip a cup of coffee at an old quarter cafe (expenses excluded).
- Conquer Ma Pi Leng Pass, a mountain pass boasting majestic, breathtaking natural scenery. This is also the most stunning section of the "Happiness Road".
- Take photos at Tu San Canyon, also known as Ma Pi Leng Canyon or Nho Que River Canyon. This is the deepest geological fault canyon in Vietnam.
- Enjoy a boat cruise along the Nho Que River. The boat takes you into Tu San Canyon (shuttle and boat fees excluded, approximately 200,000 VND/guest).
Evening: Arriving in Bao Lac, you will have dinner and check in to the hotel to rest. Enjoy free time at night. Overnight stay in Bao Lac.

Morning: The group checks out and has breakfast. The third day of the itinerary will take you to Cao Bang. Along the way, the vehicle will stop for you to take photos of the scenic landscapes.
Noon: The group has lunch in Quang Uyen and takes a short rest. Afterwards, the vehicle takes the group to visit:
- Ban Gioc Waterfall. Standing at 53 meters high with 3 tiers, it is the largest waterfall in Southeast Asia and one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Vietnam. It is also the 4th largest waterfall among the 10 most beautiful waterfalls in the world situated on a national border.
- Nguom Ngao Cave (Tiger Cave). This is not only one of the most beautiful caves in Northern Vietnam.
- Phuc Sen blacksmith village, renowned for its traditional knife-making craft.
Evening: Arriving in Cao Bang City, you will have dinner and check into the hotel. You can relax or freely explore the nightlife of Cao Bang. The group stays overnight in Cao Bang.

Afterwards, the vehicle transfers you to Cao Bang Bus Station to return to Hanoi. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to admire scenic mountain passes such as Tai Ho Sin Pass, Cao Bac Pass, Khau Khang Pass, Gio Pass, Giang Pass...
Noon: You have lunch at your own expense on the way back to Hanoi.
Afternoon: Upon arrival at My Dinh Bus Station, the 4-day 3-night Ha Giang - Cao Bang tour comes to an end. On behalf of the company, our tour guide expresses heartfelt thanks, bids farewell, and looks forward to seeing you again on future journeys.
Morning: The group enjoys breakfast and has free time to relax and explore the city.
