Tour description

With poetic scenery, majestic mountains, the Nho Que River has become one of the symbols of the stone flower region of Hà Giang. The Nho Que River is a tributary of the Gâm River with a length of 192 km. Flowing through many layers of rugged cat's eye stone, sometimes hidden, sometimes appearing among the towering cliffs that pierce the sky, the Nho Que River leaves visitors awestruck with a beauty that is both poetic and majestic. Seen from the summit of Mã Pí Lèng, the river looks like a thin thread winding softly around the mountain foot. This place is honored as one of Vietnam's unique created valleys and has been listed as a scenic monument since 2009. The Nho Que River has become an attractive tourist spot with the poetic beauty of its turquoise water among the majestic cat's eye stone mountains.

Detailed itinerary

HANOI - QUAN BA - YEN MINH

Morning: The vehicle and tour guide pick you up at the Central Circus - 67 - 69 Tran Nhan Tong.

You will travel to Ha Giang to explore and experience the majestic landscapes of highland mountains and passes, interwoven with seasons of flowers full of local warmth. Along the way, you can take the opportunity to admire the extremely majestic and pristine scenery of the northeastern mountains and forests.

Noon: You stop in Bac Quang to rest and have lunch at a restaurant.

Afternoon: The group stops at Km 0 milestone to take check-in photos.

You then continue along the mountain pass route to explore the Ha Giang Karst Plateau. The group arrives in Quan Ba and stops at the Heaven Gate to admire the Fairy Twin Mountains - an “artistic masterpiece” bestowed by nature upon this land. Also known as the Quan Ba Twin Mountains, this site consists of two adjacent mountains. The mountains have a rounded shape, completely different from the surrounding peaks. The Fairy Twin Mountains are also associated with a legend passed down through many generations of local ethnic communities in Ha Giang.

Afterward, you will pass through Vietnam’s most beautiful vast pine forest, stretching across high mountain slopes, to reach Yen Minh town. You arrive at the hotel to check in and rest.

Evening: You enjoy dinner at a restaurant after a long journey in Yen Minh town. After the meal, you are free to explore at your leisure.
YEN MINH - DONG VAN KARST PLATEAU - NHO QUE RIVER - MA PI LENG

Morning: You wake up, have breakfast, and check out of the hotel.

The vehicle and tour guide will continue taking you to Dong Van Karst Plateau – a rocky plateau stretching across four districts: Quan Ba, Yen Minh, Dong Van, and Meo Vac. High, rugged mountain ranges boast a wild, magnificent, yet equally poetic beauty every spring as vibrant flowers bloom in abundance. Alongside the scenic landscape are the traditional cultural charms of the ethnic highland communities in Ha Giang.

You will also visit the Vuong Chi Sinh Hmong King Palace, known for its unique architecture and fascinating historical stories. The architecture of the mansion partly emulates that of China's Qing Dynasty, combined with Hmong culture and French artistic influences. Despite the harmonious blend of three distinct architectural styles, it still retains folk architectural character that blends seamlessly with the surrounding natural scenery.

Next, you will head to Lung Cu - the northernmost point of the Fatherland, often described as the place where "lowering your face touches the ground, raising your head touches the sky." This marks the northernmost pole: one of the four cardinal extremities of Vietnam. The path up to the flagpole consists of a total of 839 steps, divided into three stages. From Lung Cu Flag Tower, you can admire stunning terraced fields interspersed with traditional earthen walled houses of the Lo Lo ethnic group in Seo Lung village below.

Noon: Enjoy lunch in Dong Van.

Afternoon: The tour guide will take you to visit Ma Pi Leng Pass – known as the most majestic pass in Vietnam and one of the "Four Great Mountain Passes" of the North. It is a steep, rugged, and winding route with rhythmic curves. Along the pass, you can marvel at spectacular natural vistas of rolling mountains. Afterwards, board a boat to relax on the emerald Nho Que River through Tu San Canyon, soaking in the panoramic landscape from near and far.

Evening: Return to Dong Van town to check in and have dinner at a restaurant featuring the local specialty, black chicken hotpot.

After dinner, you are free to stroll around and explore Dong Van Old Quarter – an ancient quarter bearing the strong architectural imprint of Chinese culture, with two-story houses topped with yin-yang tiled roofs and high-hanging red lanterns... You can also shop at the old quarter night market on weekends.

At the end of the sightseeing day, return to the hotel to rest and recharge after a day full of exciting experiences.
DONG VAN - BAC SUM - HANOI

Morning: After breakfast, you will check out of the hotel and depart for Hanoi.

On the way back, you will stop to visit: Lung Cam Cultural Village to take photos with ancient houses—the filming location of the famous movie "The Story of Pao"—where blooming fields of yellow mustard flowers in winter or Tet peach blossoms in spring create the perfect backdrop for romantic and culturally rich photos…

Lung Cam Cultural Village reveals the distinctive beauty of the karst plateau with undulating mountain ranges, lush green cornfields, a tranquil atmosphere, and a peaceful, slow-paced lifestyle, forming a magnificent picture bestowed by nature. This place still preserves many unique cultural traditions of the Mong ethnic people.

Noon: The group stops for lunch at Bac Sum Slope—the longest slope in Ha Giang, then boards the bus to head back to Hanoi.

Evening: Arriving in Hanoi, the tour guide bids farewell to the group, concluding the journey. See you on future trips.
