Tour description

At the end of autumn and early winter, the valleys, hillsides, and passes in Hà Giang become unusually beautiful because of the triangular orchid flowers. This characteristic highland flower has become an inspiration attracting tourists from all over the country to Hà Giang in recent years.

At the end of October and early November each year, the triangular orchid blossoms spread a gentle pink‑purple hue across the hills of Hà Giang. The majestic mountain forest scenery here, with pure‑white fields of triangular orchids, captivates visitors to this northernmost land of the nation. The flowers grow on hills, along roads, at the foot of mountains, on passes, and bring vibrant life even to the thorny rock faces… The triangular orchid is a flower that when it first opens is pure white, then turns to light pink, soft violet‑tinged pink, then deep red, and finally, when it fades, turns black. This flower forms fields stretching across ridges, stone valleys, … though delicate, it always bravely displays its color among the endless rocky mountains.

13:30 Board the car and continue the sightseeing journey.

Yen Minh - Lung Cu - Ma Pi Leng - Dong Van (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

06:00 Guests have breakfast, after which the group sets off to admire the majestic landscapes of the Dong Van Karst Plateau Global Geopark. Along the way, guests stop to visit:

- Tham Ma Pass: a gently winding road between precarious mountain cliffs, resembling a peach silk ribbon lying gracefully amid the majestic mountains.

- H'Mong King's Palace - Vuong Chinh Duc: located in a valley in Sa Phin Commune, this was the wealthiest and most powerful family in Dong Van District in the early 20th century.

- Lo Lo Chai Village: home to the H'Mong and Lo Lo ethnic groups for decades.

11:30 Guests have lunch at a restaurant. After lunch, guests take a short rest before continuing the afternoon sightseeing tour.

- Take photos at the buckwheat flower garden along the road to Lung Cu Flag Tower.

- Conquer Ma Pi Leng Pass on the way to Meo Vac, also the most beautiful section of the road known as the "Happiness Road." Take photos of the majestic Ma Pi Leng Canyon, 800 meters deep—the most deeply divided terrain in Vietnam.

- Boat trip on the Nho Que River: Guests take a boat downstream on the Nho Que River to admire Tu San Canyon, the deepest canyon in Vietnam, located along the Nho Que River. (Ethnic costume rental at the boat pier—at your own expense.)

- Take photos at Pa Vi H'Mong Village. Pa Vi H'Mong Village still preserves many beautiful cultural features of the local people from the past, including architecture, houses, and clothing. Here, you will feel as though you have stepped into traditional rammed-earth houses with highly impressive yin-yang tiled roofs. You can also see H'Mong girls wearing beautiful brocade costumes.

17:00 Return to Dong Van Town and check in at the hotel for rest.

19:00 Have dinner at a restaurant.

In the evening, guests are free to explore Dong Van Old Quarter, a historic area that has existed for nearly a century, and enjoy a cup of coffee at an Old Quarter café (at your own expense).

(Ethnic costume rental is available here – at your own expense)
