HA LONG PARK – HA LONG CITY – HANOI (BREAKFAST, LUNCH)
Morning: Enjoy a buffet breakfast at the hotel. Suggested morning sightseeing options in Ha Long include:
- Freely stroll to Bai Chay Beach for swimming, or hire a taxi to visit the 7-color quarter, known as a miniature Italy in the heart of Ha Long.
- Register for a tour to Yen Tu – Dong Pagoda. Explore one of the largest Buddhist centers in Vietnam (please contact to book the service at least by the afternoon of the previous day to receive a quote). In case you visit Yen Tu, you will check out of the hotel right after breakfast to depart for Yen Tu. After the tour in Yen Tu ends, you will have lunch at a restaurant, and then the tour guide will take you to catch the vehicle back to Hanoi.
11:00 Check out of the hotel, have lunch at the hotel, and take a rest.
Afternoon: Choose one of the following three options:
- Return directly to Hanoi after lunch. Arrive in Hanoi around 15:00 – 15:30.
- Freely enjoy the attractions of the Ha Long Park complex with numerous exciting amusement zones (park admission tickets are at your own expense). Queen Cable Car and the giant Sun Wheel on the Mystic Mountain
Dragon Park with thrilling rides like roller coasters, swing carousels...
Typhoon Water Park with exciting water-based games
- Around 13:00 - 13:30, a vehicle will pick you up for the Hon Gai City tour (minimum requirement of 4 guests):
- Admire Bai Chay Bridge from the vehicle. This is a single-plane cable-stayed bridge with prestressed reinforced concrete box girders. The two bridge towers are placed on an extra-large pneumatic caisson foundation system, applied for the first time in Vietnam using modern, advanced construction technology. The bridge was built using the balanced cantilever method; from the main pier at an altitude of 50 meters, the bridge girders extended toward the sea and connected the two cantilever arms—this construction technique ensured that vessels could navigate normally throughout the construction process.
- Visit Quang Ninh Museum. Quang Ninh Museum was inspired by the imagery of coal—a signature mineral of Quang Ninh—and designed by Spanish architect Salvador Perez Arroyo. Quang Ninh Museum – Library is considered a consummate cultural work and a lasting highlight of the famous scenic area "Ha Long Bay." It is also a massive architectural complex with the highest investment capital (over 900 billion VND) and the first official museum built in Quang Ninh Province.
- Take photos (outside) at the Dolphin Palace, the affectionate name for the Quang Ninh Exhibition of Planning and Expo Center. The Dolphin Palace was honored to be included in the list of 10 world architectural projects and buildings recognized at the 2019 International Architecture Awards (Chicago). Viewed as a prominent building with grand architecture and innovative design, evaluated by experts as a beautiful, unique structure harmonizing with the shores of Ha Long Bay – a World Natural Heritage site, the "Dolphin Palace" promises to be a novel and attractive destination for domestic and international travelers visiting Ha Long.
- Admire the scenic Tran Quoc Nghien coastal road along the heritage bay from the vehicle.
- Visit Duc Ong Tran Quoc Nghien Temple. Hung Vu Vuong Tran Quoc Nghien was the eldest son of Hung Dao Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tuan and nephew of King Tran Thai Tong. In 1282, he married Princess Thien Thuy, becoming the royal son-in-law of King Tran Thanh Tong. He was a talented general of both literary and martial prowess, a filial son, and a loyal subject. The temple is situated on the shores of Ha Long Bay.
- Conclude the Ha Long City tour with a relaxing coffee break at Gio Coffee, enjoying a panoramic view of Ha Long Bay and watching the boats pass by.
Please note: The Ha Long City tour is an open program, so it only includes transfer vehicles for sightseeing and does not include expenses such as entrance tickets or personal expenses, and there may not be a tour guide accompanying the group.
17:30 Board the vehicle to travel back along Vietnam's most scenic expressway to Hanoi.
