Detailed itinerary
14:00 Our vehicle and tour guide pick you up at the meeting point in Da Nang and depart for the beloved land of Quang Nam.
15:00 You stop in Hoi An city. The first attraction is Thanh Ha Pottery Village, a place that was once nearly forgotten, but thanks to the village elders, its unique pottery craft has gradually been revived.
You will admire ceramic and terracotta masterpieces at the pottery village. In addition, you may be guided and then make your own creations by hand. Small gifts such as figurines, terracotta animals, plates, etc. are pottery souvenirs you can buy as gifts for your relatives and friends.
In Thanh Ha Pottery Village, you stop by Thanh Ha Terracotta Park to admire the unique miniature world and the pottery craft village museum. Artistic and sculptural works with distinctive and iconic architecture are vividly recreated, such as the Sydney Opera House, the Pyramids, the White House, etc.
16:30 Leaving the pottery village, you visit Kim Bong Carpentry Village.
Located across the Hoai River, opposite Hoi An Ancient Town, Kim Bong Carpentry Village offers a peaceful atmosphere quite different from the bustling city center. With their skill and artistry, the village artisans create highly artistic wood carvings and sculptures. You are free to visit and shop for wooden products made by the artisans or witness firsthand the process by which they create such works.
17:00 The vehicle takes the group to the Silk Village eco-tourism area. This is a place that fully recreates and presents the traditional craft of mulberry cultivation, silkworm raising, silk reeling, and silk weaving, with the noble wish of honoring the essence of Vietnamese craftsmanship. Above all, the Silk Village is also likened to a living museum of silkworm and mulberry varieties, as well as the manual silk-weaving methods of the ancient Champa kingdom—the gateway that helped a considerable amount of Quang Nam silk connect with the clothing culture of the outside world.
Evening: You enjoy dinner with Quang Nam specialties such as banh xeo, cao lau, chicken rice, mi Quang, etc. in a cozy setting at the Silk Village tourist area. If you come here on a Saturday evening, you can also admire distinctive Cham dances performed by skilled dancers.
After dinner, the vehicle picks up the group and takes you into the ancient town. You begin to enjoy the old-world atmosphere of Hoi An under the romantic lantern lights. Strolling along the chessboard-like streets, you will see hundreds-of-years-old houses, the Japanese Covered Bridge shimmering in the water, and take part in folk games such as bai choi and pot smashing. At the same time, do not forget to stop by the lovely small stalls along the street or visit Nguyen Hoang Night Market to choose Hoi An souvenirs for your relatives and friends.
To fully enjoy Hoi An, you should stop at small sidewalk eateries and try affordable yet very appealing snacks.
20:30 You return to Da Nang at the original meeting point. The interesting tour ends, and we look forward to seeing you again on future trips.
