Detailed itinerary
Paradise Cave – Phong Nha Cave (lunch, dinner)
Morning: Visit Paradise Cave.
07:30 Our vehicle and guide will pick you up in Dong Hoi City (at your hotel, the railway station, bus station, airport, etc.). The group departs for Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park to explore Paradise Cave.
09:30 The group arrives at the Paradise Cave tourist area.
After arriving at the Paradise Cave parking area and passing through the ticket checkpoint, visitors continue by electric shuttle (golf cart) for nearly 2 km to the foot of the mountain. The electric vehicle travels along a relatively flat concrete road beneath the canopy of the shaded old-growth forest. As they ride slowly and smoothly, visitors can admire the pristine beauty of the mountains and forests in the national park. Continuing the journey, visitors must climb a gently sloping path for another 500-plus metres to reach the cave entrance; this is perhaps a small challenge for those passionate about cave exploration.
It is a shimmering, magical and magnificent world of stalactites and colours. It truly deserves the beautiful names people have given this cave: “Paradise Cave” and “The underground palace”. The soft white LED lights dispel the darkness inside the cave, allowing visitors to admire nature’s masterpieces. The LED lights preserve the stalactites’ original colours and do not emit heat that could damage them.
An entire sparkling world emerges: stalagmites rising from the ground like flowers or tree shoots; large stalactites resembling giant pillars or standing majestically like miniature Rong Houses of the Central Highlands; breast-shaped formations like a mother’s milk-filled breasts; stone curtains attached to the cave ceiling and stretching out like multicoloured drapes; and cascades of stalactites flowing from the cave ceiling to the floor. It is a world filled with natural wonders. Each wonder is named according to its shape: the Milky Way Waterfall, Lotus Tower, Central Highlands Rong House, Champa Tower, Guanyin Buddha, and more.
12:00 Visitors have lunch and rest at Phong Nha Restaurant, enjoying distinctive local dishes.
Afternoon: Visit Phong Nha.
13:30 The group travels to Phong Nha Cave.
14:30 Explore Phong Nha Cave: Known as the First-Ranked Cave Wonder, it features an exceptionally magnificent and glittering system of stalactites. After passing through the relatively narrow cave entrance, the group continues deeper inside by hand-rowed boat, and visitors cannot help but marvel at the beauty of nature bestowed upon this place. Phong Nha Cave has seven records: the longest underground river, the most beautiful underground rock formations and sandbanks, the highest and widest cave ceiling, and more. Visitors can freely pose for photos beside the magnificent stalactites.
16:30 The vehicle and guide take you back to Dong Hoi City, where you check in to the hotel and rest.
Evening: The vehicle picks up the group for dinner at a restaurant, after which you are free to explore and admire the city at night.

08:00 The vehicle and tour guide will pick guests up at the hotel, after which the group departs to revisit the former battlefield of Quang Tri and continue to Hue.
09:30 The group arrives at Vinh Moc Tunnels, located in Vinh Linh District, Quang Tri Province. It is one of the famous tourist sites in the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ).
Vinh Moc Tunnels were a military-civilian complex built during the Vietnam War by North Vietnam to defend against attacks by South Vietnam and the United States. The tunnel system existed north of the Ben Hai River and Hien Luong Bridge throughout the years 1965–1972.
11:00 The group stops to visit the 17th Parallel – Ben Hai River and Hien Luong Bridge. This was the boundary that divided our country into North and South for 21 long years, from 1954 to 1975. Fierce “loudspeaker battles” and “flag battles” between our forces and the enemy once took place here.
Noon: The group has lunch in Dong Ha City.
13:30 The group arrives at Quang Tri Citadel, located in the center of Quang Tri Town. Quang Tri Citadel is famous for the 81-day battle amid intense fire and smoke. The museum here currently preserves many artifacts belonging to soldiers. The group listens to the tour guide’s explanation of the fierce battles and the heroic sacrifices of the fallen heroes and martyrs who gave their lives for national independence.
14:30 The group arrives at La Vang Holy Land, one of the most important pilgrimage centers for Vietnamese Catholics. It is located in Hai Lang District, Quang Tri Province, and belongs to the Archdiocese of Hue. The faithful believe that the Virgin Mary appeared in this area in 1798. La Vang Holy Land has been and is being developed on a very grand scale, with numerous distinctive and beautiful architectural structures and facilities.
16:00 The group arrives in Hue City, checks in, and rests.

Afternoon: Visit two more destinations: Thien Mu Pagoda and Khai Dinh Tomb.

15:30 The group travels to Thien Mu Pagoda – one of the most renowned scenic sites in the former imperial capital and its most famous ancient pagoda. It is located on Ha Khe Hill, on the left bank of the Perfume River, and was built in the early 17th century.
Evening: The group has dinner at a restaurant featuring regional specialties, then boards a boat to enjoy Hue Royal Music on the Perfume River.
Morning: Guests have a buffet breakfast at the hotel.
