Meknes is one of Morocco's four imperial cities, a UNESCO World Heritage gem famous for the monumental Bab Mansour gate and the massive constructions of Sultan Moulay Ismail. Quieter than neighboring Fez, the city offers grandeur without the crowds. On this walking tour, a local guide will reveal the city's heritage.
You will stand before the magnificent Bab Mansour gate, stroll through the medina and souks, and hear stories of the sultan who once sought to build a Moroccan Versailles.
