Detailed itinerary

Ho Chi Minh City – Vinh Trang Pagoda – Thoi Son Islet – Water Coconut Creek Rowboat – Ben Tre Horse-drawn Carriage – Ninh Kieu Wharf – Can Tho Cruise – Can Tho City (Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner)

06:15 Our vehicle and tour guide will pick you up at the meeting point. Begin the exciting 3-day, 2-night Ca Mau tour. The group departs for My Tho City, Tien Giang Province.

The group stops at Trung Luong Restaurant in Chau Thanh District, Tien Giang Province, for breakfast with the following premium combo:

- Breakfast: Special My Tho Rice Noodles, Special Rice Noodles with Egg Noodles, Rice Noodles with Egg Noodles, Special Tapioca Noodle Soup, Banh Mi with Fried Eggs…

- Beverages: Iced Coffee, Coffee with Milk, Lime Juice, Lipton Lemon Tea, Sweet Tea, Soy Milk, Soft Drinks of various kinds..

After breakfast, the vehicle takes you to visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, a pagoda featuring harmonious Asian and European architecture. It incorporates Renaissance-style patterns, Roman-style arched doors, French ironwork, Japanese tiles, Chinese characters written in an ancient seal script, and Vietnamese national script written in the Gothic style. Viewed from a distance, visitors may feel that the pagoda resembles Angkor Wat, with five towers representing the five elements: metal, wood, water, fire, and earth.

09:30 You arrive at the My Tho City tourist pier to board a boat cruising along the Tien River. You will hear an introduction to the history of the four islets: Long, Lan, Quy, and Phung. The boat takes you to Thoi Son Islet, one of the largest islets on the Tien River. Explore the lush orchard scenery and a honeybee farm, observe beehives, and learn how honey is harvested. Stop to enjoy complimentary fragrant hot honey tea while hearing an introduction to products made from honey, royal jelly, and pollen. Continue to a rest stop to enjoy complimentary seasonal fruit and listen to a performance of Southern Vietnamese amateur music.

You travel along village paths to the ferry pier, then take a rowing boat along the canal beneath the cool shade of water coconut palms to the river mouth. Board a larger boat to Ben Tre to visit the most famous coconut candy workshop in Ben Tre. See firsthand how coconut candy and other coconut products are made.

The group boards horse-drawn carriages and travels along village roads to the Viet Nhat Eco-Restaurant for lunch.

After lunch, on the way back to the My Tho tourist pier, the tour guide will introduce you to Mr. Dao Nguyen Thanh Nam, the founder of the Coconut Religion, also known as “Religious Harmony.” This was a very well-known form of religious belief in Ben Tre in the 1960s.

The company will invite each guest to enjoy one sweet and refreshing coconut from Ben Tre, the Land of Coconuts. You then board the vehicle and depart for Can Tho – the land of Tay Do.

17:30 You arrive in Can Tho and check in to a 3-star hotel in the center of Ninh Kieu District, where you can freshen up and relax.

19:00 The vehicle takes you to Ninh Kieu Wharf Park to board a cruise on the Can Tho River. Enjoy an evening exploring Western Vietnamese cuisine aboard a luxurious 5-star cruise. Together, enjoy folk songs and Southern Vietnamese amateur music.

21:00 The boat docks. You are free to stroll around Ninh Kieu Night Market, experience the electric shuttle service to explore Can Tho City, or return to the hotel to rest.
CAI RANG FLOATING MARKET – SOM RONG PAGODA, SOC TRANG – CA MAU CAPE – MANGROVE FOREST SPEEDBOAT TOUR – CHECK-IN AT CA MAU CAPE’S ALLUVIAL FLATS – CA MAU CITY (Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner)

05:00 The tour guide takes the group to visit Cai Rang Floating Market. Learn about the floating-market culture of the Mekong Delta and immerse yourselves in the daily life of the “river traders” in the morning. You will enjoy watching trading activities on boats—a distinctive feature of the river region—with a wide variety of goods, including fruit, food, and more.

Enjoy a buffet breakfast at the hotel. Then pack your luggage and check out.

07:00 Continue the journey toward the southernmost point of our beloved country. The vehicle will take you through well-known locations such as Nga Bay Phung Hiep (Hau Giang) and Nga Nam Soc Trang.

The group arrives in Soc Trang to visit Som Rong Pagoda. More than 300 years old, this pagoda is a prominent representation of the culture and beliefs of the Khmer people in Southern Vietnam. The pagoda was built around 1785, initially with simple thatched roofs. Over time, it was developed into a complex of notable structures featuring distinctly local architecture.

The group stops to visit and shop at Quang Tran Pia Cake facility, the most famous in Soc Trang.

11:15 The group arrives in Ca Mau City. Enjoy lunch at a restaurant.

Afternoon: The vehicle takes the group to Ca Mau Cape. Here, visitors will see National GPS Coordinate Landmark 0001. Take photos and keepsake pictures with the boat-shaped installation, depicting a wind-filled vessel heading out to sea—the symbol of Ca Mau Cape. In particular, upon arriving at Ca Mau Cape, Huynh Gia Travel will give each visitor a red flag with a yellow star T-shirt to wear for commemorative photos at the coordinate landmark. The photos will be sent to you via email, Facebook, and Zalo as a memento of your trip to the southernmost point of the country.

The group continues to check in at two new attractions: Kilometer Marker 2436—the endpoint of the Ho Chi Minh Road—and the 33-meter-tall Hanoi Flag Tower at Ca Mau Cape.

Board a tac rang (motorized boat) to begin an extremely exciting experience that should not be missed when visiting Ca Mau Cape: a journey through the mangrove forest (Huynh Gia Travel is the only company pioneering this tour to date). The boat takes visitors through every corner of the forest, crossing waves and facing the wind. You will experience the simple, pristine environment and see firsthand the activities of the creatures living beneath the mangrove canopy. The group will then stop at a rest station in the vast primeval forest to check in and experience crossing a monkey bridge.

Continue to the Ca Mau Cape Alluvial Flats, where you can immerse yourself in the peaceful surroundings and connect with nature at the southernmost point of the country. Take plenty of photos and enjoy the sunset in this meaningful, poetic, and romantic land.

The group boards the vehicle to travel to Nam Can District, Ca Mau Province. Enjoy dinner featuring renowned local specialties.

The group returns to Ca Mau City. Check in at a hotel located along the city’s busy, bustling central route. Enjoy free time to explore Ca Mau’s culture, cuisine, and famously “incredibly charming” people.
TẮC SẬY CATHEDRAL – BAC LIEU PRINCE’S MANSION – BAC LIEU WIND FARM – HO CHI MINH CITY (Meals: breakfast, lunch)

Morning: After enjoying a buffet breakfast at the restaurant, you will pack your luggage and check out.

07:30 The group departs for Bac Lieu City to visit and pay respects at the Catholic cathedral considered the largest and most sacred in the southwestern region of Vietnam. Tắc Sậy Cathedral is associated with a famous figure, Father Francis Xavier Trương Bửu Diệp. The priest is regarded as a saint because of the miracles experienced by those who believe and pray to him. You will visit Father Diệp’s tomb and experience the solemn and sacred atmosphere of this place.

09:30 Continue visiting the Bac Lieu Prince’s Mansion. The house has captivated countless visitors with its magnificent beauty. With its spacious surroundings and harmonious architecture, it is considered one of the most beautiful streetscapes in Bac Lieu. Built in 1919 and designed by a French engineer, the villa features modern and luxurious Western European architecture. The house still retains its original structure, allowing visitors to experience authentically the living space of the famous prince of the former Nam Kỳ Lục Tỉnh region.

Check in at the Bac Lieu Wind Farm (admission included). Upon arrival, visitors will be captivated by the majestic scenery, with turbines rotating against the sky and sea of Bac Lieu, creating a romantic and appealing atmosphere rarely found elsewhere. In addition to experiencing the wonderful beauty of this green energy project, you can also relax in a refined space harmoniously integrated with nature. This is truly an ideal destination for those who love modernity and wish to enjoy a unique travel experience in Vietnam.

Lunch: Enjoy lunch at a restaurant in Hau Giang, featuring rustic specialties rich in Southern Vietnamese flavors.

Afternoon: The group travels back to Saigon. On the way, you will stop at the Ho Chi Minh City–Trung Luong Expressway rest area for a light meal (at your own expense), shopping, and relaxation. Then continue the journey.

18:00 The group arrives at the original pickup point. End of the 3-day, 2-night Nam Can, Ca Mau Tour: Through the Mangrove Forests of Dat Mui. Our tour guide, on behalf of the company, thanks you, bids you farewell, and looks forward to welcoming you again on future tours.
