Detailed itinerary
Hanoi – Vi Khe Ornamental Plant Village – Countryside Museum (Lunch, Dinner)
07:30 Our vehicle and tour guide pick up the group at the meeting point and begin the journey to Nam Dinh.
10:00 Visit Vi Khe ornamental plant village. This is one of the oldest ornamental plant villages in the Northern Delta. You will admire bonsai masterpieces featuring rare and artistic forms, as well as an authentic-looking Green Khue Van Cac. Afterwards, visit the Giao Thuy Countryside Museum, which houses labor tools and household items used in the daily lives of people in the Red River Delta. Have lunch at the museum.
14:30 Depart to visit the Bach Long salt fields and try being a “salt farmer” for a day by harvesting salt.
16:30 Board the vehicle and head to the Giao Xuan Community Cultural Tourism Area. Check in at the homestay and relax.
19:00 Have dinner and enjoy a special cultural performance featuring quan ho, cheo, and hat van folk songs performed by local residents (entertainment costs are at your own expense, or you may request advance preparation). Overnight at a homestay in Giao Xuan.

08:45 Visit Xuan Thuy National Park and learn about the bird species found here.
10:30 Take a boat to visit the vast clam-farming area, home to many households with years of experience raising clams. Learn about the clam-farming process and have lunch at the clam hut.
14:30 The vehicle takes you back to the center to check out. Relax.
15:00 Visit Phu Nhai Basilica – the place where Christianity was first introduced to Vietnam.
16:30 Board the vehicle and return to Hanoi.
