In addition to the sea and the rich U Minh Ha Forest, Ca Mau is also home to one of the most diverse and unique mangrove ecosystems. Geological formation has created a V-shaped landmass resembling a peninsula with three sides bordering the sea. This geographical feature has laid a solid foundation for the development of Ca Mau's distinctive mangrove forest system. Anyone traveling to the southernmost point should visit Ca Mau Mangrove Forest at least once.
For generations, Ca Mau Mangrove Forest has served as a conservation area, providing safe shelter for many rare and wild animals. At the same time, the exceptionally “fertile” ecosystem beneath the forest canopy has provided livelihoods for many local households through activities such as catching crabs and collecting snails. This abundance and fertility have created a remarkably rich forest ecosystem rarely found elsewhere.

Detailed itinerary
07:00 Pick up the group at the meeting point in central Ca Mau City. Depart for the 1-day Ca Mau – Cape Ca Mau tour.
Upon arriving in Nam Can, you will board a speedboat to Cape Ca Mau (for groups of 10 or more) and travel to the southernmost point of the country. After more than an hour traveling along the river, you will arrive at the Cape Ca Mau tourist area.
- Explore the mangrove ecosystem – See melaleuca, mangrove, and nipa palm trees, along with the rich and diverse wildlife, including various bird species. Together, they create a colorful and fertile picture of the land at the end of the map of Vietnam.
- The tour guide will introduce the formation of the Cape Ca Mau region.
- Take souvenir photos at the Cape Ca Mau coordinates marker.
- Visit the coastal road along the western shore of the Gulf of Thailand.
- Visit the Lang Rung revolutionary base.
- Check in at Mui Tau.
- Check in at the endpoint marker of the Ho Chi Minh Road, KM2436, and especially take commemorative photos at the National Flagpole.
- Noon: Enjoy lunch and Ca Mau specialties at a local home in Cape Ca Mau. Free time to relax and take photos.
13:00 Say goodbye to the southern Cape region as the tour guide takes you back to Nam Can Town.
14:00 Arrive in Nam Can Town and continue the journey back to Ca Mau City.
Afternoon: Upon returning to Ca Mau City, the vehicle and tour guide will take you to the meeting point or original pickup point, concluding the 1-day Ca Mau tour.
