Detailed itinerary
HANOI – DAM DA – MOTHER AU CO TEMPLE – LONG TIEN PAGODA (LUNCH)
Morning: At 06:30, the vehicle and tour guide will pick up the group at the meeting point and depart for the Dam Da – Tien Cave tourist complex. Along the way, you will stop to rest and have breakfast (at your own expense).
9:00 Arrive at Dam Da, where you will complete procedures to make offerings at Trinh Temple – dedicated to the Three Holy Lords who contributed to opening up this land.
After that, you will visit Tam Toa Cave – perched on a mountaintop at an altitude of about 400m, with stalactite formations, stalactite curtains, stalagmites, and stone pillars in many shapes and colors, making Tam Toa Cave a natural art museum with harmonious and magnificent sculptural and painterly works of art.
Noon: At 11:30, you will have lunch at the tourist area and rest.
Afternoon: At 13:00, you will make offerings at Mother Au Co Temple – a place of worship for legendary figures such as Mother Au Co, Mother Long, Quan Hoang Bay, Quan Hoang Muoi, Co Chinh, the Three Palace Holy Mothers, and more. Here, you will have the opportunity to learn about Mother Goddess worship and ancient indigenous beliefs.
Afterward, you will visit and offer incense to pray for peace for your family and loved ones at Long Tien Pagoda - an ancient pagoda built in the stilt-house architectural style, using thatch, bamboo, and leaves as materials. Tien Pagoda is a national archaeological site.
16:00 You will gather back at the vehicle to return to Hanoi.
Upon arrival in Hanoi, the vehicle and tour guide will drop you off at the pickup point and bid farewell to the group. End of the trip.
